pine trees

we trimmed off the bottom 6 foot of branches off two pines. the friskers loppers (here) i got rock . but sure i wont be able to get out of bed tomorrow. only two more pines to go.

closing up for the evening

it takes 24 minutes to close up the barns and put away the four wheeler for the evening while holding a very unhappy 2 month old.

poison oak

found i am not allergic to poison oak, thank god! trimmed up the bottom 6 feet of the pine next to the hay barn. the tree had grape vines and poison oak climbing up its trunk. i tried not to come in contact with it but it was inevitable.

the mosquito's are going to be the death of me

fighting to overcome the urge to scratch myself to death. i would sit outside all evening, enjoying the evening noise of the frogs, crickets, and birds settling in. i must remember to put more bird seed in their feeder tomorrow morning. i know i can spray deep woods off all over me but i hate dousing myself with deet every evening.  slept till 12:30. unbelievable. i only accomplished mowing from the apple trees back to the creek. was successful in not murdering any frogs :) they do take their time moving out of the way...sometimes i have to yell at them. two mallards, a boy and a girl snooping around the bird feeder this morning. grape vines still unattended to. what a disaster. its supposed to rain the next 5 days.  last nights burning of all things burnable left over from the garage sale was still burning this afternoon.  saw momma bunny today. relieved the babies werent all alone. god, i just want to scratch these mosquito bites with my hair brush.

i feel like someone beat the shit outof me. my whole body aches. they have a fungus. i am sure i have breathed in some of the green and white powdery substance. nice.
